Systems Seminar: Round Table Discussion
Starting this week, we are introducing a new round table discussion format to our Systems Seminar. This session is designed to be a relaxed, casual conversation and an open exchange of ideas.
We encourage everyone to share something new they have come across or learned. This could be a paper you have read, a piece of news (for example, the recent Fable 5 release), an interesting website, a new tool or skill you have picked up, or even an open question you would like the group to think through together. The format is meant to be relaxed, just casual conversation and an exchange of ideas, so there is no pressure to prepare anything elaborate. Going forward, we plan to dedicate roughly 10–20 minutes each week to it, with around 2–4 students sharing per session.
Preparation
For this coming week’s inaugural session, we encourage everyone to prepare a little something to share. If you plan to contribute, please add one or a few pages to our shared Google Slides presentation prior to the seminar.
We are looking forward to the discussions ahead!
